In the article Warm and Cozy Nordic Lodges Craig Ramano outlines some of the best places to stay in Washington during the winter, including the Freestone Inn, Leavenworth’s Sleeping Lady, and more.  With so many great things to do here in the winter you’re definitely going to need a place to nestle down.

Craig also spotlights the hiking around Blewett Pass with a nod to 3 of the best trailsSwauk Forest Discovery Trail, Naneum Meadow, and Mount Lillian.  If hiking is your thing you won’t want to miss these great destinations!

Lastly the magazine highlights one of the greatest small towns in America – Wenatchee Washington.  Outdoors NW calls Wenatchee A magnet for outdoor enthusiasts” With a plethora of whitewater, road biking, hiking, mountain biking and paddling options, we’re inclined to agree.  Outdoors NW talks with Andy Dappen of Wenatchee’s popular outdoor site www.WenatcheeOutdoors.org to get the lowdown on all the best outdoor recreation.
